CVE-2023-44127

Contact data disclosure via implicit intents

Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024

Information disclosure in LG V60 ThinQ 5G Android 8 through 13 allows local users to read contact details and phone numbers via implicit intents. The Call Management package com.android.server.telecom launches intents containing sensitive call data without restricting their delivery to an intended recipient. A malicious third-party app must be installed on the handset and user interaction must trigger the affected flow; the documented consequence is data disclosure.
