Local file theft via intercepted implicit intents

Improper intent handling in LG V60 ThinQ 5G on Android 12 and 13 allows local users to expose arbitrary files through a malicious app. MyCategoryGuideActivity launches an implicit intent, accepts an untrusted result in onActivityResult(), copies the selected file to a fixed shared path, and makes it world-readable and world-writable. A third-party app must be installed and user interaction is required; the copied file becomes accessible outside its original protection boundary.
