System-privileged activity access via broadcast redirection
Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Intent redirection in LG ThinQ Service on LG V60 ThinQ 5G Android 9 through 13 allows local users to launch protected activities. NotificationManager.java redirects the com.lge.lms.things.notification.ACTION broadcast without preserving non-exported activity boundaries. A third-party app must be installed and a user must interact; the app can then reach otherwise non-exported activities across installed apps.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
