Type confusion in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI distributed file modules allows remote attackers to force a device restart over a network. Huawei identifies incompatible-type access in the distributed file module but has not disclosed the affected code path or malformed input that triggers it. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation interrupts availability by rebooting the device.
