Authenticated SQL injection via account statement dates
Published Aug 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Credit Lite 1.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through an account-statement request. The POST handler for /portal/reports/account_statement incorporates the date1 and date2 parameters into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax. A low-privileged account and network access to the portal are required; exploitation can read or alter application database records and interrupt database-backed operations.
