Authenticated code execution via unrestricted profile upload
Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Simple and Nice Shopping Cart Script 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The edit-profile upload function accepts executable profile content without adequately restricting dangerous file types, allowing server-side execution. A valid low-privilege account and profile-editor access are required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code on the server.
