Remote code execution via unchecked schedule end time
Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AC10U firmware 15.03.06.49_multi_TDE01 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted schedule end time. The setSchedWifi function passes the user-controlled schedEndTime value into a stack buffer without checking its length. An unauthenticated HTTP POST to /goform/openSchedWifi can crash httpd; code execution is reported, but the published proof demonstrates only the crash.
