Code execution via unchecked list parameter
Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AC10U Firmware 15.03.06.49_multi_TDE01 allows remote attackers to crash httpd or execute code via an HTTP request. The fromSetIpMacBind handler passes the user-controlled list parameter onward without checking its length before it reaches a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required from an adjacent network, and exploitation can yield a root shell or interrupt web management.
