Published Oct 5, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
OS command injection in Dell SmartFabric Storage Software 1.4.0 and earlier allows attackers to gain root access through the CLI. The vulnerable CLI path passes input to the operating-system more command without neutralizing command syntax, allowing injected commands to execute. An authenticated local console or SSH session is required, and successful exploitation executes commands with root privileges.
