Browser script execution via decoded query parameter
Published Jul 17, 2024 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Cross-site scripting in ACG-faka 1.1.7 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted code query parameter. Index.php base64-decodes the code value and renders the decoded contents into the response without neutralizing executable browser content. A victim must open the crafted URL, allowing script execution in the ACG-faka origin and limited reading or modification of browser-accessible data.
