Authenticated browser script execution via stored project names
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Stored XSS in Xunrui CMS Public Edition 4.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts through a project name. The project settings handler accepts HTML in data[SITE_NAME] and later renders the saved value without neutralizing event-handler markup. Management-backend access is required, and the payload executes when a user loads a page that displays the saved name.
