Privilege escalation in D-Link DPH-400SE FRU 2.2.15.8 allows remote authenticated users to obtain administrator access via the web portal. The Maintenance/Access User Modify view returns other accounts' stored passwords in a revealable input field and permits a guest account to edit users. Access requires web-portal login; the documented default guest credentials suffice to disclose the administrator password and then authenticate as administrator.
