Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Arbitrary file upload in Hospital Management System 4.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through an unauthenticated PHP endpoint. The /jquery-file-upload/server/php/index.php handler accepts arbitrary uploaded files without restricting executable content, leaving them available for server-side execution. Network access to the endpoint is sufficient, with no credentials or user interaction required, and successful exploitation enables arbitrary code execution.
