Code execution via exposed WebView JavaScript bridge
Published Dec 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code injection in Fedirtsapana TV Bro 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code and create files through an external intent. The exported MainActivity loads attacker-chosen URIs in a WebView that exposes TVBro.takeBlobDownloadData, which decodes Base64 content and saves it under a supplied filename. No app permission or user interaction is required; crafted JavaScript can create or download arbitrary files and consume device storage.
