Authenticated document disclosure via unchecked object identifiers
Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
IDOR in EMSigner 2.8.7 allows remote authenticated users to download other users' documents by manipulating object identifiers. The GETALLDOCUMENTSWORKDETAILSShareDownload endpoint exposes sequential DocumentID values and EncryptedDocumentId tokens, and InternalUserCompletedDownload returns documents without checking ownership. A low-privilege account can enumerate identifiers and read documents belonging to other profiles; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
