CVE-2023-43885Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated device lock via unhandled HTTP errors

Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Denial of service in the HTTP server of Tenda RX9 Pro Firmware 22.03.02.20 allows remote authenticated users to lock the device. The server omits error handling during authenticated request processing, but public records do not identify the request path or failed operation that enters the locked state. Access to the authenticated HTTP interface is required, and successful exploitation interrupts the router by leaving it locked.
