Unauthenticated service interruption via unrestricted curtime
Published Sep 28, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L B1 2.02 allows remote attackers to interrupt router service via a crafted web parameter. The formSetWanL2TP handler reads curtime with websGetVar and passes it to sprintf-backed stack storage without enforcing a length limit. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is denial of service, not code execution.
