Router crash via unbounded curtime stack write
Published Sep 28, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L B1 firmware 2.02 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted curtime parameter. The formSetWAN_Wizard7 handler obtains curtime with websGetVar and passes it to sprintf for storage on the stack without restricting its length. No authentication or user interaction is required, and public evidence bounds the demonstrated consequence to denial of service.
