Code execution via wLogTitlesPrevValueLen stack overflow
Published Jan 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Delta Electronics DOPSoft 2.00.00.00 through 2.00.07.04 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted DPS file. The DPS parser overflows a stack buffer while processing the wLogTitlesPrevValueLen field; further implementation detail is not public. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated remote attacker to persuade a user to open the file, after which code runs in the application's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
