Code execution via malformed wMailContentLen field
Published Jan 18, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Buffer overflow in Delta Electronics DOPSoft 2.00.00.00 through 2.00.07.04 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted DPS file. The DPS parser mishandles the attacker-controlled wMailContentLen field while reading the project file, causing an out-of-bounds memory write. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file; successful code execution runs with the privileges of the DOPSoft process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
