CVE-2023-43815

Code execution via malformed DPS length field

Published Jan 18, 2024 · Updated Jun 2, 2025

Buffer overflow in Delta Electronics DOPSoft 2.00.00.00 through 2.00.07.04 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted DPS file. The DPS parser trusts the wScreenDESCTextLen field while processing screen-description text and overflows a memory buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which code executes in the DOPSoft process context.
