Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via mail form
Published Oct 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Arbitrary file upload in the baserCMS 4.6.0 through 4.7.6 mail form allows remote attackers to write files via network requests. The vendor identifies the mail form as the affected locus but has not published which upload handler or validation failure accepts untrusted files. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is arbitrary file placement, while server-side code execution is not established.
