CVE-2023-43784Network attack vector

Unauthenticated AWS key-field exposure via public JavaScript

Published Sep 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Information exposure in Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 allows remote attackers to read AWS Firehose key fields from a public JavaScript file. The uat.js resource embeds accessKeyId and secretAccessKey values in client-delivered configuration for the plesk-17.0-ux Firehose stream. The file is reachable without authentication, but Plesk states that the specific visible keys pose no security threat and no demonstrated access to protected AWS resources is public.
