Insecure temporary file in Cadence through 0.9.2 allows local users to interrupt the aloop daemon via a pre-created /tmp file. The cadence_aloop_daemon.py component trusts an existing /tmp/.cadence-aloop-daemon.x, loops while it exists, and stops when another user removes it. Local users only need filesystem access to /tmp; the demonstrated impact is denial of service against the audio loopback daemon.
