Denial-of-service in WithSecure products allows remote attackers to interrupt scanning via the aeelf component. The aeelf.dll component crashes when processing attacker-supplied input, causing the antivirus scanning engine to stop. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the vendor reports no exploitation in the wild; impact is limited to service interruption.
