Inadequate encryption in affected ELECOM and Logitec routers allows attackers to intercept protected wireless LAN traffic. The factory-set Wi-Fi encryption key lacks sufficient strength, enabling attackers to guess it and decrypt protected communications. Exploitation requires wireless-network proximity and applies when the factory-set key remains in use.
