Administrative access via retained failed-authentication session
Published Dec 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Authentication bypass in Zultys MX firmware 3.2.10 through 17.0.10 allows remote attackers to gain full administrative access. The TCP port 7505 administrator service reports a failed login but leaves the connection open and treats later requests on it as authenticated. No credentials or user interaction are required; network reachability to the service is sufficient for complete administrative control.
