Stored script execution via company address injection
Published Sep 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in osCommerce 4.12.56860 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The /admin/tax_rates/save route accepts a script payload in company_address and later renders the stored value without sufficient neutralization. Exploitation requires access to the administrative route; viewing the affected tax-rate data runs the injected script in another user's browser context.
