Stored script execution via unsanitized status name
Published Sep 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in osCommerce 4.12.56860 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The /admin/orders_products_status/save endpoint stores the orders_products_status_name_long[1] value without neutralizing script markup, then renders it for browser execution. Authenticated access to the administrative endpoint and another user's visit are required; exploitation can read or alter data available to that browser session.
