Authenticated reflected XSS via unsanitized shipping title
Published Sep 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Reflected XSS in osCommerce 4.12.56860 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The /admin/modules/save?set=shipping handler accepts the configuration_title[1][MODULE_SHIPPING_PERCENT_TEXT_TITLE] value and returns it as executable page content without neutralizing markup. An authenticated account must submit the crafted value, and another user must load the affected response; the script then runs in that user's site context.
