Script execution via unneutralized configuration title
Published Sep 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Reflected XSS in osCommerce 4.12.56860 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser via a payment-module request. The /admin/modules/save?set=payment handler processes the configuration_title1 value without neutralizing executable markup. Authenticated access to the administrative endpoint is required to submit the payload, and a victim must load the affected response; impact is limited to browser-context confidentiality and integrity.
