Stack buffer out-of-bounds access in Malwarebytes before 5.1.5.116 and Nebula 2020-10-21 and later allows remote attackers to read memory. The newline-handling path performs an integer calculation that underflows and then accesses a stack buffer outside its allocated bounds. The network path requires neither authentication nor user interaction; consequences are limited memory exposure and service interruption.
