Cross-site scripting in baserCMS before 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via the file-upload feature. Upload-related PHP templates and helpers rendered attacker-controlled filenames and element identifiers without HTML escaping, so a crafted upload value was reflected into the management page. Exploitation requires a victim to open the affected management view; reported impact is browser-side script execution with limited confidentiality and integrity effects.
