Incorrect default permissions in Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers installers before 2023.3 allow local users to escalate privileges. Intel has not disclosed which installer-created files or directories receive permissive access controls or the exact operation that attackers perform on them. Low-privileged authenticated local access is required; successful exploitation crosses the local privilege boundary and can compromise data and service operation.
