System-file modification via crafted traversal request
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Path traversal in FURUNO SYSTEMS ACERA 1310 and ACERA 1320 firmware 01.26 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter system files. FURUNO SYSTEMS states that a crafted request modifies critical information but does not identify the request handler, path parameter, or missing pathname restriction. Access must be network-adjacent, authenticated, and directed at a device operating in ST mode; the bounded consequence is modification of critical information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=firmware ver.01.26 and earlier
