Memory disclosure via invalid MP2 section length
Published Jun 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon Video allows remote attackers to disclose memory through an MP2 clip with an invalid section length. The Video MP2 parser trusts the invalid section length and reads beyond the section buffer while processing the clip. No authentication or user interaction is required; the read exposes memory contents and can also interrupt video processing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
