Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Display software allows local users to read or alter memory or crash devices through ACPI configuration data. The user-mode application reads ACPI configuration data and dereferences a pointer sourced from that data without validating it. Exploitation requires local access but no prior privileges or user interaction, and can compromise data or interrupt the affected device.
