Kernel memory corruption via Listen Sound parameter query

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon firmware allows local users with high privileges to corrupt kernel memory through an audio query. Qualcomm maps the flaw to CWE-120 but has not disclosed which buffer or copy operation in the kernel-side Listen Sound model client lacks bounds checking. The documented gate is local high privileges with no user interaction; Qualcomm does not state whether corruption yields code execution or only a crash.
