Memory corruption via out-of-range bandpass filter order

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon audio firmware allows local users with high privileges to corrupt memory through AHAL input. The audio component accepts a bandpass-filter order from AHAL without enforcing the expected range before using it in a buffer-copy operation. Exploitation requires local high-privilege access; Qualcomm has not disclosed whether the corruption causes a crash, data exposure, or code execution.
