Local memory corruption via out-of-range firmware offset

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Video components allows local users to read or alter protected data or crash the device. The Video component uses an out-of-range pointer offset while processing a malformed message payload received from firmware. Low-privileged local access is required, and the published assessment requires neither administrator privileges nor user interaction.
