Code execution via ptmcast SEH buffer overflow

Classic buffer overflow in Siemens COMOS before 10.4.4 allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the application via ptmcast. The ptmcast cache-validation test executable copies attacker-controlled data without adequate bounds checking, corrupting its Structured Exception Handler chain. Exploitation requires user interaction; successful memory corruption can run code in the target process or terminate it.
