Browser script execution via unencoded room fields
Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Resort Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. The manage_room.php form stores room_no, name, and description values and later inserts them into HTML form controls without output encoding. Resort-management access and a valid form token are required to store the payload, and viewing the saved room record triggers script execution in that user's browser.
