CVE-2023-43455Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via traceroute command

Published Dec 1, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Command injection in TOTOLINK X6000R firmware versions 9.4.0cu.652_B20230116 and 9.4.0cu.852_B20230719 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The setting/setTracerouteCfg component passes the user-controlled command parameter into command execution without neutralizing shell metacharacters. The endpoint is reachable without authentication, allowing network attackers to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the router.
