Code execution via unsanitized Smarty template content

Server-side template injection in CMS Made Simple 2.2.18 allows local users to execute code through Content Manager entries. The Content field accepts native Smarty template syntax without sanitization and evaluates it server-side when a visitor opens the page. Administrative panel access is required to store the payload, which then runs in the web server context when the affected page is rendered.
