Command injection in affected ZPE Systems Nodegrid OS 5.x releases allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands via file-toolkit APIs. The upload, download, execute, remove, and list endpoints pass their arguments without neutralization into a command string executed by a spawned shell. Authentication is required, and injected commands run with the authenticated user’s privileges, permitting data access, modification, and service interruption within that account’s authority.
