CVE-2023-43321Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via wget argument injection

Published Oct 4, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024

Command injection in the update function of Digital China Networks DCFW-1800-SDC 3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. /sbin/cloudadmin.sh inserts unquoted SERVERIP and FILENAME input into ping and wget commands, allowing wget's -O option to write an attacker-hosted web shell into the web root. Access to the SSH management menu is required; successful exploitation writes executable server-side content and grants code execution on the appliance.
