Reflected script execution via unneutralized username
Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Reflected XSS in IceWarp WebClient 10.3.5 allows remote attackers to execute script through the sign-in page username field. The sign-in flow processes a username containing an image error-handler payload without neutralizing it and executes the handler after Next is selected. No account is required, but a victim must submit the crafted value; the script then runs in the page origin and can capture sign-in input or authenticated cookies.
