CVE-2023-43318Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via trusted GET parameters

Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Improper access control in TP-Link TL-SG2210P 5.0 Build 20211201 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The usermanagement and swtmactablecfg web-console endpoints trust attacker-modified tid and usrlvl values in GET requests, allowing a lower-privileged token to reach administrator-only functions. A valid lower-privileged token is required; successful exploitation grants administrator controls over the switch.
