Authenticated command execution via configRestore injection
Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Command injection in D-Link DWL-6610AP firmware 4.3.0.8B003C allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The config_upload_handler function passes the configRestore parameter to a command context without neutralizing command syntax. Reachability requires access to the appliance's administration interface from an adjacent network and a low-privilege authenticated session.
