CVE-2023-43206

Authenticated command execution via certificate-download parameter

Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Command injection in D-Link DWL-6610AP firmware 4.3.0.8B003C allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The web_cert_download_handler passes the certDownload value into an operating-system command without neutralizing command syntax. Exploitation requires access to the adjacent-network management surface and an authenticated session; successful injection grants command execution on the appliance.
